Parmotrema consors (Nyl.) Krog & Swinscow, 1983
Diagnostic description:
Parmotrema consors is characterized by the absence of vegetative propagules and medulla containing only an unidentified fatty acid (negative reactions with spot tests). The similar P. pilosum (Stizenb.) Krog & Swinscow produces soredia, being regarded the sorediate pair of P. consors (Hale 1976).
